LETTER 'G'

Just looked at some more ways of developing it and pushing how far i can take with this letterform further, plus going to start looking at pushing into other letterforms.

I also had a look at rounding the top with a half circle instead to see what that has to offer. I think i prefer the circle than the rounded rectangle.

LETTER 'G' UPDATE

Been experimenting with my letter 'G' and i feel it is coming on, just worried im stylizing it to make it contemporary than making it for the purpose of my zine work. Not saying its a bad thing as this can go to personal work or even work on the narrative more, but my zine is about how wolverhampton inspires me!

I feel the development is coming on but there is something that is not looking right with it!

ZINE MOVING FORWARD

Okay so i have lately changed my zine idea and now i know the direction i am going with. I am going to make two outcomes for this zine brief now. Outcome one is basically a book were i have taken inspiration for my A0 photocopies i trimmed down to A4. So i am now going to get photographs/illustrations and blow them up to which ever size i think and cut them down. Here some outcomes i have down but have along way to go as only have a small amount of imagery to use with but i feel this is a really interesting direction to take my work into.

TURNING MY WORK INTO DIGITAL PROCESS

Okay i have started to move this project on and bring it into a final outcome. Iv thinking going back to use typography with the cutting of A0 photocopy to A4. But i have also looked into working with digital and done a few outcomes in the last half hour of how they could look. There a starting point, not very interesting or how i want them to look but its a start and shows that my project is moving on!

DIFFERENT ROUTE?

Just looking at my work from my sketchbooks and kinda feeling where i can take this further as appose to final outcomes. I feel going down a very nice route of doing collages but its not going further. So here looking at taking something big and bring it back down to a simple idea. Here i have cut my work into A4s which were originally at A0 photocopy. Dunno if there is any point of this but trying to break way from what i did before and move it on.

LETTERING

Found a letter 'g' in the streets of wolverhampton and 'mac' it up on illustrator and customized it looking at the thickness and thinness in the stroke. Overall i think there is development still in the letter maybe try and take it into a san serif, or in one stroke width or knock of the ear? But its a first attempt and might take it further.
